Today, NIS Almaty-Medeu opened its doors to the 2026–2027 academic year

This year, the NIS Almaty-Medeu school community welcomed 144 new students. The beginning of the 2026–2027 academic year marks an important and special stage for the entire school community, including teachers, students, and parents.
In his welcoming address, School Principal Yerbolat Serikuly congratulated everyone on the beginning of the new academic year and emphasized the importance of pursuing knowledge, continuous learning, and embracing new opportunities. Addressing the students entering the school for the first time, he noted that this day opens the door to new beginnings. He also wished senior students confidence as they move towards their goals during this important and responsible stage of their lives.
The 2026–2027 academic year will be a period of new initiatives and meaningful projects in education and science for NIS Almaty-Medeu. In particular, students’ participation in scientific research, achievements in international intellectual competitions, and the implementation of creative and social projects will continue to be among the school’s key development priorities.
