At the National Academic Olympiad in general education subjects for students in grades 9–11(12), students from NIS Almaty-Nauryzbay achieved outstanding results: Yerbolat Yerzhan, a student in Class 9E, won first place and a gold medal in geography. As the overall winner of the Olympiad, this gifted student is eligible to compete in the International Geography Olympiad.
