As part of the “Parents’ University” project, a seminar was held for parents of 9th–10th grade students at the educational institution. The seminar, titled “A Child in the Digital Age: Screen, Network, and Addiction,” was conducted by Kazakh language and literature teacher Zhannur Mauytova. The main goal of the event was to contribute to the prevention of one of today’s pressing issues — dependence on electronic gadgets — and to encourage joint efforts in finding effective solutions.

During the seminar, Zhannur Kalybaykyzy engaged parents in various brainstorming activities and practical tasks aimed at identifying the advantages and disadvantages of gadgets, working together to explore solutions to the problem.

According to the coordinator of the “Parents’ University” project, Lazzat Yesengazina, monitoring the responsible use of gadgets should be a top priority for parents. This is precisely why seminars and meetings are regularly organized at the educational institution.
