From July 4 to 12, the VIII International Young Geologists Field Olympiad was held at NIS Astana Nura. The international competition brought together ten of the strongest teams from Kazakhstan, Belarus, Russia, and Uzbekistan, where participants demonstrated a high level of theoretical knowledge and practical field skills.

At the conclusion of the Olympiad, Kazakhstan's "Aspan" national team won second place in the overall team standings, proudly representing the country on the international stage.

Our school is especially proud that Auezbayev Sanzhar and Omarov Aslan, students of NIS Astana Nura, were members of the national team. Throughout the competition, they successfully completed challenging tasks that required extensive geological knowledge, teamwork, and effective decision-making in field conditions.
