From July 4 to 12, the 56th International Physics Olympiad (IPhO), one of the world's most prestigious academic competitions, was held in Bucaramanga, Colombia. This year, Team Kazakhstan achieved a historic milestone by winning five gold medals, marking the country's best-ever performance at the Olympiad.

Тwo of these gold medals were won by our students: Amirbek Azatbekov, a Grade 12 student, and Damir Kurman, a Grade 11 student.

The Olympiad brought together 381 students from 85 countries. Participants tackled highly challenging theoretical and experimental physics problems that required profound subject knowledge, analytical thinking, and strong practical skills. Our students successfully met every challenge, demonstrating exceptional preparation and reaffirming their place among the world's top young physicists.

Congratulations to our talented young intellectuals on their well-deserved gold medals! May this remarkable achievement mark the beginning of even greater success, inspire them to reach new heights, and lead to many more outstanding victories in the future!
