NIS RUN – 2026: A New Tradition Bringing Everyone Together

In celebration of Family Day, Atyrau NIS successfully hosted its first network-wide family marathon, NIS RUN – 2026, bringing the NIS community together around a shared goal.

More than 350 students, parents, school staff members, and their family members took part in the marathon. Participants completed 1, 3, and 5-kilometre distances in both individual and family formats.

The youngest participant was just 3 years old, while the oldest was 65. She was the grandmother of one of our school’s students. The participation of people of different generations in the same race once again demonstrated that sport knows no boundaries and that an active lifestyle is a shared value for everyone.
