NIS Kokshetau students among the best in the national science project competition

The final stage of the national science project competition in natural sciences and mathematics has come to an end in the capital. At the end of the competition, NIS Kokshetau students demonstrated a high level of preparation and won two gold medals, one bronze medal, and one certificate of honor.

First place in the “Environmental Protection and Human Health” section went to 11th grade students Arnur Ilyasov and Eskendir Erikuly with their project Forest Fire Alarm System. Their research advisor was Evgeny Fomichev. Their work is dedicated to the development of an early detection system for forest fires.

The bronze medal in the “Computer Science” section was won by 10th grade student Arman Kuzaïrov with his project “Miska Dobra” (Bowl of Goodness). Supervisor: Galia Begezhaeva.

In the Environmental Protection and Human Health section, 8th grader Tamerlan Shaykenov was awarded a certificate for his project “Device for Air Monitoring and Early Warning of Indoor Risks.” His research advisor is Tatiana Tkachenko.
