XVI NETWORK SPARTAKIAD AMONG NIS STAFF CONCLUDED IN URALSK

On June 12–13, 2026, the Nazarbayev Intellectual School in Uralsk hosted the XVI Network Spartakiad for pedagogical staff and employees of the Autonomous Educational Organization. This year, the traditional sporting event brought together 18 teams, with the total number of delegates reaching approximately 300 participants.

The tournament was organized to popularize physical culture and mass sports, promote healthy lifestyle principles, and strengthen corporate ties and professional collaboration within the NIS network.

Opening Ceremony and Event Program

The official opening ceremony of the Spartakiad took place at the "Jaiyq Arena" sports complex. The event was attended by distinguished guest speakers who supported the organization of the competitions:

Mr. D. G. Garapshauly, Deputy Director of JSC "Aksaygazservice"

Mr. D. F. Faatuly, Director of the "Akzhayyk" sports complex

The chief refereeing panel for the seven sports disciplines was composed of leading, highly qualified athletes from the region.

The competition schedule spanned two days:

Day 1: Qualifying and final matches in volleyball, table tennis, and archery.

Day 2: Tournaments in mini-football, chess, lyange, and tug-of-war.

Closing Ceremony and Final Standings

The official closing and award ceremony was attended by Ms. Zhanbota Zhetylbekovna, Deputy Chairperson of the Board of AOO "Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools." In her address, she emphasized the strategic importance of conducting corporate athletic events, expressed gratitude to the organizing committee for the exceptional level of preparation, and presented diplomas, medals, and trophies to the winners.

Following the two-day competition, the overall team standings were announced as follows:

I Place – Nazarbayev Intellectual School, Uralsk

II Place – Nazarbayev Intellectual School, Kyzylorda

III Place – Nazarbayev Intellectual School, Aktobe

The Network Spartakiad is an annual event hosted on a rotational basis across various regions of the Republic of Kazakhstan and will proceed in subsequent academic periods.
