Yerasyl Makhsot, a 9th-grade student of Nazarbayev Intellectual School in Uralsk, has won an honorable 2nd place and a silver medal at the International Junior Geography Olympiad, held in Kopaonik, Serbia.

Our country's national team, which represented the honor of the state at this prestigious intellectual competition, demonstrated a high level of preparation and excellent results. In total, the Kazakhstani team's collection includes 1 gold, 3 silver, and 3 bronze medals, earned by 7 out of the 9 participating students. We are truly proud that among the young talents who have brought glory to Kazakhstan on the international stage is our very own student, Yerasyl!
