Students of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School in Uralsk discussed a book in the school’s autumn garden.

In October, the project “Reading Together with NIS” continued with «Дәрігердің үшінші қаруы» by Sherkhan Murtaza, a prominent figure in Kazakh literature.

The open exchange of ideas in a natural setting left a special impression on the students. The rustle of yellowing leaves and the quiet of the autumn garden gave the literary discussion a distinctive atmosphere and deepened the spiritual connection between the book and its readers.

The discussion of the work used the “dodecahedron” method, which allowed the text to be explored from many angles. Teachers and students uncovered the main idea of the work, analysed the characters’ actions, and evaluated their moral qualities and life principles. Participants shared their thoughts, exchanged opinions, and related the characters’ decisions to various real-life situations.

During the literary conversation, students filled in a “Character ID Card”, which clearly showcased their critical thinking skills and personal perspectives. Through the work, the meaning of important values such as humanity, responsibility, and professional integrity was explored.
