NIS Karaganda hosted a major sports celebration — NIS RUN 2026, bringing together around 800 participants. NIS RUN was more than just a celebration of sport — it was an event that brought together families, friends, students, and teachers.

Participants took on 1, 3, and 5 km distances and joined a vibrant flash mob. The starting line welcomed not only individual runners, but also teams, friends, and families.

A Special Atmosphere — Thanks to the Families

NIS RUN truly became a family event. One of the brightest examples was the Akmakov family, who came to the race together. Fourteen members of one family — from the youngest to the adults — took part in the sports celebration together.

On tis day, winners were determined not only by race results. All participants received certificates, while the most active participants were recognized in 16 special noinations celebrating family participation, team spirit, and energy:

NIS RUN once again showed that sport has the power to bring people together. Students and parents, teachers and friends, children and adults — everyone became part of one team.
