🌱 Eco-Mission “Save the Planet”: Small Acts for a Cleaner Future

23 September 2026 11:47

As part of the “Service to Society” project and the “Taza Kazakhstan” environmental initiative, Grade 12 students Diana Temirlan and Aisар Kuatbek, together with teachers K.B. Zholdybaeva, M.K. Turasheva, Zh.D. Bekmaganbetov, and B.T. Mekeeva, visited Special Boarding School No. 4 under the Education Department of Karaganda Region.

The meeting was held under the theme “Eco-Mission: Save the Planet” and brought together environmental education, creativity, teamwork, and care for the environment.

The aim of the event was to develop environmental awareness and a responsible attitude toward nature, as well as to promote the values of mutual support, kindness, and social responsibility among students.

At the beginning of the meeting, participants discussed the importance of caring for nature, reducing waste, and reusing materials. Particular attention was paid to the idea that even small actions by each person can contribute to protecting the environment.

The Grade 8 students then divided into groups and worked on environmental case studies. They explored situations related to environmental pollution, waste sorting, conservation of natural resources, and responsible behavior. The students proposed their own solutions and shared ideas on how to make their school, homes, and city cleaner.

The creative part of the meeting was a “Upcycling Crafts” workshop. Participants learned how everyday materials can be given a “second life” and created colorful compositions from paper flowers. The collaborative activity encouraged creativity, teamwork, and mutual support.

The meeting concluded with a flower-planting activity. Participants planted flowers together, worked with the soil, and learned how to care for plants properly. Each flower they planted became a small contribution to creating a greener and more welcoming environment.

Throughout the meeting, the atmosphere was filled with kindness, care, and mutual support. The participants not only talked about environmental responsibility but also put it into practice through meaningful actions.

The event demonstrated that “Service to Society” is an opportunity to make a positive contribution to people and the environment through our actions. The idea of “Taza Kazakhstan” begins with simple steps that each of us can take: conserving resources, caring for nature, helping others, and making the spaces around us cleaner and more beautiful.

May every flower planted remind us that a clean and green future begins with the responsibility and good deeds of each individual.
