As part of the “100 Songs and 100 Kuyis” project, a musical and educational event was held to introduce students to the rich heritage of Kazakh folk music, traditions, and national culture.
The event was attended by Grade 7 students of Nazarbayev Intellectual School. The Bukhar Zhyrau Shanyrak, led by project coordinator T.A. Kartabayeva, also took part in the event.
During the meeting, students learned about the history and significance of Kazakh folk songs and kuis, as well as the role of the dombra in national culture. Special attention was paid to preserving musical heritage and passing traditions from one generation to another.
The event took place in an atmosphere of interest, creativity, and appreciation for national culture. The dombra, songs, and kuis became a bridge connecting history, traditions, and the younger generation.
