NIS Kyzylorda Team Finishes Among Top Performers at Network Spartakiad in Oral

The annual NIS Network Spartakiad for teachers and staff has successfully concluded at Nazarbayev Intellectual School in Oral.

This year’s large-scale sporting event brought together 18 teams representing Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools from across Kazakhstan. Nearly 300 participants competed in volleyball, football, chess, table tennis, lyanga, archery, and tug of war.

The NIS Kyzylorda team delivered an impressive performance throughout the tournament, reaching the semifinals in every sport and securing second place overall in the team standings.

Among the standout performers was Abylai Zhandeuov, who set a new Spartakiad record in the traditional game of lyanga and earned the title of “Best of the Ten”, one of the competition’s highest individual honors. Zhanna Omarova was recognized as the Best Table Tennis Player of the tournament.

More than just a sporting event, the NIS Network Spartakiad promotes healthy lifestyles, encourages participation in sports, and strengthens teamwork, partnership, and unity within the Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools community.
