NIS RUN Brings the Kyzylorda School Community Together

Around 1,000 students, teachers and parents from Nazarbayev Intellectual School in Kyzylorda took part in NIS RUN, a family event held to celebrate Family Day. Participants completed a three-kilometre route along the city’s riverside promenade, turning the run into a vibrant celebration for the entire school community.

Parents and children, brothers and sisters, teachers and students all joined the event. The run gave them an opportunity to spend quality time together, encourage one another and demonstrate that an active lifestyle can unite people of all generations.

The Akbergenov family won the Largest Family award, with eight family members taking part. Their participation showed that strong family support can help overcome any distance.

At the age of 73, Bakytbek Matenov was the oldest participant in NIS RUN. His inspiring participation became one of the highlights of the event and was recognised with a special award.

The organisers also presented awards to teachers, parents and students in recognition of their enthusiasm, positive energy and contribution to promoting an active lifestyle within the school community.
