The school library is the school's cultural and information center and a key component of the educational process.

The library's activities are aimed at creating a favorable educational environment based on moral values ​​and best practices in national and international education.

The library's main activities are:

• Supporting a multilingual educational environment: resources are available in Kazakh, Russian, and English.

• Developing a collection in accordance with educational programs and the needs of students and teachers. Acquisition is carried out jointly with the heads of methodological associations.

• Providing a variety of sources: educational, fiction, reference, and popular science literature, periodicals, as well as electronic resources and multimedia applications.

• Developing functional, reading, and information literacy through integrated lessons, active learning methods, and joint projects with subject teachers.

Electronic resources used to support learning, enhance interactivity, and improve accessibility.

The library provides access to paid educational platforms: Twig-Bilim, Bilimland, Gale, and LibGuides. LibGuides, an international platform used by thousands of libraries worldwide, holds a special place. To date, the NIS Kyzylorda library has created approximately 200 subject guides on science and humanities subjects, as well as projects such as "100 Books...," "NIS Birge Oqiyq!", "Tugan Elge Tagzym," and others. On the platform, students can prepare for the SAT and IELTS, parents find useful materials, and teachers collaborate with librarians to create new educational resources.

Library Automation

All library operations are fully automated thanks to the СУБ (Library Management System) program.

• Collection management, lending, and return of books are all conducted electronically.

• Each reader has their own electronic profile.

• Automation allows you to quickly find the materials you need, track reading statistics, and generate reports.
