From August 25 to 29, Thailand hosted the Kazakhstan Counselor & Agent FAM Trip 2026, an international educational tour. Madi Izmailov, a career counselor at NIS Semey, participated in the program, gaining insights into Thailand’s higher education system and the academic opportunities offered by the country’s leading universities.

During the trip, representatives of Kazakhstan’s education sector visited the campuses and laboratories of the Asian Institute of Hospitality Management (AIHM), the Asian Institute of Technology, Panyapiwat Institute of Management, and Kasetsart University. Participants also learned about the universities’ academic programs and study opportunities available to international students.

A key outcome of the educational tour was the signing of two memorandums of cooperation with the Asian Institute of Hospitality Management (AIHM) and the Faculty of Engineering at Kasetsart University Sriracha Campus. The institutions offer educational programs in areas such as hospitality management, engineering, digital technologies, and robotics.

The memorandum with Kasetsart University is particularly significant for NIS Semey students. Under the agreement, students will have the opportunity to explore admission options for degree programs, certificate courses, and short-term programs, as well as receive academic guidance and support throughout the university admissions process.
