From 17 to 21 August 2026, the ECER 2026 Conference, one of the major international academic events in the field of education, was held in Tampere, Finland.

The conference brought together researchers and scholars from more than 70 countries to discuss educational development, modern research methods, improving teaching practices, and emerging areas of educational research.

As part of the international event, teachers from NIS Taraz presented their research and shared their professional experience with international experts and colleagues. They also engaged in professional discussions and explored contemporary research approaches in education.

The teachers’ research focuses on such areas as developing students’ research skills in STEM education, increasing their interest in scientific inquiry, and fostering students’ metacognitive skills in English-Medium Instruction (EMI) classrooms.

Participation in ECER 2026 was an important step towards strengthening the research capacity of NIS Taraz teachers and building professional connections with the international education community.
