“Taza Kazakhstan: Constitutional Values as the Foundation of Environmental Culture and Responsibility”

September 1 is a special day that marks the beginning of a new academic year filled with new goals, opportunities, and discoveries. This year, our school celebrated Knowledge Day under the theme “Taza Kazakhstan: Constitutional Values as the Foundation of Environmental Culture and Responsibility.”

The event focused on the importance of constitutional values, love for one’s homeland, respect for nature, and personal responsibility for the environment. Special attention was also given to the role of the nationwide “Taza Kazakhstan” initiative in fostering environmental awareness and a sense of responsibility among the younger generation.

The festive atmosphere was enhanced by an energetic flash mob performed by our 7th-grade students, bringing joy and positive energy to everyone present. Our talented students also performed the traditional Kazakh küy “Balbyrauyn” on the dombra, showcasing the beauty and richness of Kazakhstan’s national cultural heritage. The celebration also featured a heartfelt performance of the song “Tugan Zher,” which filled the event with a strong sense of patriotism and love for the homeland.

One of the highlights of the ceremony was recognizing Arnur Artykbay, a talented young researcher and a source of pride for our school, for his outstanding achievement at the prestigious Regeneron ISEF science and engineering fair.

At the competition, Arnur presented a research project focused on detecting cancer using artificial intelligence. His innovative work earned international recognition and demonstrated the remarkable potential of young researchers.

Arnur was awarded First Place and the ISEF Mawhiba Special Award. He also received a full scholarship to King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM), along with a USD 400 cash prize.

His mentor, Physics teacher Mirlan Tulegenovich Dzhusanbayev, who played an important role in preparing Arnur for this outstanding achievement, was also honored with a special award.
