A large-scale craft fair, “Asqaq Ruhty Aulieata,” was held at the Qazaq Creative Hub in Astana, bringing together more than 50 creative professionals from the Zhambyl Region.

The event was held as part of the national Creative Aimaq project with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The fair provided a platform to showcase national art, traditional crafts, original works, and contemporary creative projects from the region.

Among the participants was Indira Kurmankulova, a teacher of supplementary education. She presented her original ceramic works and conducted a ceramics master class for visitors.

During the workshop, participants had the opportunity to work with clay, learn about the process of creating ceramic pieces, and experience the unique atmosphere of one of the oldest forms of decorative and applied art.

Events like this contribute to preserving and promoting traditional craftsmanship, fostering interest in ceramics, and passing valuable skills on to the younger generation.

The fair featured approximately 10,000 works and handmade items, including ceramics, wood, leather and felt products, jewelry, traditional clothing, paintings, sculptures, books, and contemporary creative projects.
